Terms of Service

Last updated: April 2026

1. Service description

AutoDiag provides an AI-assisted diagnostic and workflow management platform for independent automotive workshops in Australia and New Zealand. The service is provided as-is on a subscription basis.

2. No warranty on diagnostic suggestions

AutoDiag provides diagnostic suggestions based on information you supply. These suggestions are decision-support tools only — they do not replace qualified technician judgement, OEM service information, or proper diagnostic procedure.

Always verify AI-generated suggestions against current OEM service documentation before carrying out repairs. AutoDiag accepts no liability for misdiagnosis, incorrect repairs, or consequential damage arising from reliance on AI suggestions.

3. OEM portal access and intellectual property

AutoDiag does not provide access to OEM service information or portal content. Your OEM portal subscriptions are your own, subject to each manufacturer's terms of service. AutoDiag does not log in to OEM portals on your behalf.

OEM service information (TSBs, wiring diagrams, calibration data) is the intellectual property of the respective manufacturers. AutoDiag does not reproduce or store OEM service content.

AutoDiag is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or a member of AASRA.

4. Credential security

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your OEM portal credentials. If credential vaulting is enabled, AutoDiag forwards credentials to the configured vault and stores only a vault reference. Browser-side envelope encryption is not yet enabled in this build. Use a unique, strong password for each portal.

5. Subscription and billing

Subscriptions are billed monthly in AUD, inclusive of GST. Plans are per-bay. You may cancel at any time — cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds are issued for partial months.

Plan limits (AI query counts) reset at the start of each calendar month. Exceeding your plan limit will pause AI diagnostic features until the next billing cycle or until you upgrade.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to use AutoDiag to process or store data belonging to other businesses without their consent, to attempt to reverse-engineer the service, or to use the service for any unlawful purpose.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Australian law, AutoDiag's liability is limited to the subscription fees paid in the 3 months preceding any claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. Any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Queensland.
